as i have mentioned earlier

i had my cic examination and test today at catherin st ottawa at 1.30 pm

i left early because i had no idea how good would be parking situation be like!

i had to circle around at park my car at loab parking near matcalfe st - loblows parking lot an walk 10 minutes to cic office .

they are always in a lunch between 12-1 pm so i had to wait for 20 minutes before room 201 opened .
CO came at 1 pm sharp and let us in .

she asked us to wait for 2-3 minutes and then started calling us one by one ( specific instrustions were to bring first page of appointment letter and PR card to the table 1

she gave us answer sheet and staple letter behind it ..also looked at my pr card and marked in a separate sheet where she had 36 other applicants name written .
she asked me to go sit in the ceremony room / text room
one by one she did let us all in the room

mr.x came in and told that he will administer the text . turn off your electronic device / do not talk/ cheat/ etc etc ..also told us not to release answers to any body -

during the test --fill out answer sheet with your name and file number as provided on a appointment letter

test started at 1.45 pm
five minutes and i was done ..questions were very easy , i was prepared . i listened and read the book and mp3 file twice and could remember everything ..however i had also did my practice test with googled sites..got 19/20 i returned the answer and question paper work to one of the four CO and left room .

waited for another ten minutes and they started calling us one by to place out in open like a standing booth like bank booths

when my turn came CO called me and ask me to provide my passport and pr with two pieces of id
her time was very limited so
she asked about my work
if i had any criminal records in canada
and looked at all pages of passport and asked if i had any other passport or not ..thats all
3 minutes and i was done. she told me about expecting ceremony letter and i left ..

parking is a major problem
arrive early and get your self comfy
read lots about canada be well prepared and you should do just fine ..

only one thing i noticed is she had my file ready on what to check and what to ask ..as if she was reading a script provided to her.

good luck

now waiting for ceremony ...

Congratulations. As you already saw you did not need to bring additional documents.

I agree with you about the parking. I had to park @ the lot of the Canadian Museum of Nature on my test day.

Hope that you get the oath notice very soon.

congratulations computer
i am glad to hear the good news..
so the lady who interviewed me was blond with blue eyes and almost for 2 minutes all asking almost nothing
but at the end she said : the file will go to CJ for final decision then the letter in 3-4 months which contradicts with what they were announcing in the room at the exam time that it is 1-3 months..
my colleagues here assured me that this is a standard reply and i should not be worried..
also it is new to me that people gets RQ at the interview time..is this really happening?
