CIC email sender id - required

Hi,
It has been more than 5 months and I haven't heard anything back from CIC on the PR application done in June 2011.

1. From which email id do they normally communicate? I might have to search my mailbox with that.
2. Should I send an email to CIC to check the status at local Visa office or to Buffalo?

Please advise.

Search for “@cic.gc.ca” or “@international.gc.ca”

I guess you need to make a case inquiry as it doesn't sound normal to me. Good luck!
