CIC did not send letter needed to get Police Certificate from Mexico

Hello everyone, I am applying from Mexico and I need a letter from CIC to be able to request the police certificate from this country. CIC only sent me a letter saying that I need the police certificate and that I have a 60 day deadline (in English). I called the appropriate authorities here in Mexico and they said that the letter has to be from the embassy, directed at the delegate of the appropriate law enforcement agency, and that it has to be in Spanish.

Has anyone had a similar situation? What do you suggest I do?

That seems to be the standard request for Mexico PCC, so you simply have to request the letter at the Canadian Embassy:
