CIC change in form

hello ,

I filed for my wife's immigration last week and there is a form IMM0008 thats has been modified on the CIC website, I am nervous about what would be the situation when CIC looks at the form. As they have changed the form today, my application shows its been transmitted to Mississauga office. Please advise on the situation. I have already sent out the form that was updated on the website and will this change in the form delay my wife's sponsorship...! And also I would want to know how long would it take for the application process ?
once the sponsorship is approved, can I call my wife to canada on a work permit? as she is working for Infosys in India and she could get a change to move to Infosys Canada on a project...! please advise

The overseas office "may" request an updated IMM 008 in the future, but your application is fine as you submitted it before the new IMM 008 was available.

what if someone just sent it today?
I mean..
the form looks the same.

If you mail the application with an old form, CIC might return your application.

They may return it (likely) or depending on when you sent it relative to when they updated it, hopefully they'll just request a new one. I had the whole application returned to me because a couple signatures were missing, rather than letting me just fax or email them. They're really fussy.
