CIC call centre not answering calls !

hi,,

did anyone try to contact CIC call centre for information and could speak to them?

I have tried several times this week and it says ' they are experiencing a high volume of calls " and tell us to go online !!!!!!!!

are they really unavailable? I can't reach them.

It is high volume time for the call center so you will need to call hourly or later in the day when the volume is manageable to get an agent.

Here is the trick:

call the call centre at 1-888-242-2100 and press 4 and then 0. If the system says "The call can't be transferred due to high volume of calls", just hang up and call again and press 4 and then 0. You may have to hang up and call 5-20 times until you hear the system putting you on hold to talk to an agent.

Hi.. best time for you to call early morning or late afternoon...

have tried so many times and than I was able to get in touch...

I have also not been successful trying to reach them on several occasions. Maybe they are all on their summer vacation lol...these guys are pathetic!

Not sure who is more annoyed, me or them, by people calling every other day to check their status, which they can do online.

I hope they shut down this call centre all together and save us some tax money.

I agree and they not even giving out application status much so there's no need for them to be there. "The save us tax payers money" wouldn't help me and you coz we wouldn't get that in our pocket but the others will... as our tax deductions will remain the same. They are bitterly sickening from call center reps to the ones who work behind the scenes..... neither they care and have no shame of themselves.
