My husband just got a brand new police certificate, which has been translated by an embassy translator, and certified, and sent with his application in December. We got an email asking for one again, we are confuse as to why they need another one again. Any reason why they need another one and also retranslated?

It is not over 6 months old the one we sent (their email mention its good for 6 months)

This is for the dominican republic
Any info please, thanks

It was probably overlooked. Respond and inform them that the PCC was already included with the app.

How do i respond? Is here a way to email them?

What we notice is that their emails and information is so delayed it could just be the same request for the first police clearance. We had this happen with medicals over and over with 3 to 4 month delays and when we contacted them they just told us to ignore it. I do not recommend ignoring it but contact your Member of Parliament to get more direct answers from them or do case specific inquiries.

Respond to the email or send a CSE.

The email say you cant respond to it. What is a CSE?

Hi
Do they have a phone number to call CIC outside of canada? All those applications to ask question says it can take 10 business days, we dont have that long to wait for an answer
If a cpp is needed that means i need to get another translation again, that takes time
And i am not back in canada until mid janurary
They are only giving us until Jan 22 to do so!!! Not enough time....

That said, CSE will get you the best result here and will take 10 days. Calling may only lead to frustration.

Ok but 10 days is too long for us, im only in my husband country until Jan 11
And they want this again and another translation again... That takes a week or two just to get translated....
