Hi all, well i now have some bad news about my application, my card details down for the $550 CIC payment to go through a Visa Debit which didnt work and was declined, they have sent me a covering letter to say what happended and that i can use the letter to as part of a re-submitted application.

Theres one huge problem though, when the application went over this years quota under my code for a skilled worker visa was not full but since the applications return it now is. What do you think is best to do, re-send with a bankers draft, try and find a job and get in through a job offer and/or wait until the 2011 quotas are announced and do it again but get a bankers draft included!! Am very worried as i only heard from my agent yesterday who seems to think that i have to find a job or wait but i have heard that applications can go back in???

Any advice would be much appreciated, i'm not sure if theres any way the application could be put back in? Thanks in advance, Richard

I am afraid you are out of luck if your NOC has reached it's cap. You will have to wait to next July to see if it is on the list.

To Richardo3,

If I were you I will send the money together with the letter they sent you. You have a great chance of being considered as the situation will be like you are replying to a pending situation. If I were you I will run the risk. The worse thing that might happen is they return your application and your money. If you decide to wait and re-apply next year and by misfortune your occupation is not listed, then you would have lost a great opportunity. It is better to try now and they say no and you re-apply next year rather than waiting next year and running the risk of not being on the list. Anyway, this is my personal opinion and I would have than this, but the final decision is yours. Whatever your decision is, good luck!!
