Hello!
I have a few questions and I hope someone can please help me
I am about to finish my undergraduate program in Quebec + I have reached the French requirement for PEQ. So I can apply for CSQ right after I graduate. However, I won't be able to work in my professional field in Quebec due to French issues (we need to take the OQLF exam which is quite hard). Therefore, I am thinking of moving to BC.
I am now struggling between PEQ or BC PNP. On the one hand, I want to work as soon as possible and don't want to do nothing in Quebec. On the other hand, It's hard for newly graduates in my profession to find a permanent full time job, which is the requirement for PNP. It always starts with a "casual/replacement position".
Here are my questions:
1. How long does it normally take to get PR by BC PNP? (I know for PEQ is about one year)
2. If I apply for PEQ and then work in BC, so that get rejected by federal PR, will it affect my future application through BC PNP?
3. which do you think is a better way for me?
1) apply for PEQ and wait in Quebec. Move to BC after receiving PR.
2) apply for PNP when I find a full-time job in BC (which could take up to years...or I might be lucky find one)
3) apply for PEQ and try to find a job in BC,
if find a full-time job, cancel current application and reapply through PNP;
if can't find a full-time job, may be lucky still getting PR? is it possible?
Can someone please help me? It would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
