Thanks for the post. But I doubt this helps any of us.
1) As per the article, if you have a job, they will give you visa. Canada on the other hand will give you PR itself if you have a job.
2) Other option is to loan $500,000 for 5 yrs to Chile government. If you have that kind of money, even Canadian provinces will process your application for PR. In fact, some Canadian provinces require even less investment, something like $250,000 to 350,000.
Anyways, most of the immigrants are from Third world countries. If they have that kind of money, am sure they would stay at home country and just live off the interest like a king.
