did you insert your and your spouse's(if accompanying) detail in the following question while filling up the Child's family section in the application form?

"We need to know some information about X's family. Tell us about his/her family.
Please tell us about X's immediate family members that have not been identified in the application.
This includes any parent, any spouse or common-law partner, any child including adult children, and any brothers or sisters. If the relative is deceased, provide the date of death"

do we need to provide our(parents') information here also?

I did not include them, only my parents and brother who were not identified in the application.
