hi every one here .. just like to ask one q wanna make sure plz
rule says if one parent is citizen 1st nation baby born out side Canada become automatic citizen .
just file application for certificate

Q does parents have to get legally married before the baby born OR does nt matter kids got citizenship

If one of the parent was born in Canada or a naturalized Canada (PR acquired citizenship) at time of baby's birth outside Canada, the child is automatically Canadian. Just have to apply for canadian citizenship certificate.

Marriage status has no bearing or no effect on being able to pass on citizenship. The parent can be single, divorced, widowed, common law or married. Makes no difference.
