Children to follow a year after the Principal Applicant landed

Hello!!!. My application starts processing last March 30, 2005..When will I get a letter from the embassy about the status of my application... i't's been 61 months now..and I,m wondering when will embassy sent their decision...?

Another question.. i have filed my 2 kids as accompanying family member, if ever that my application will be successfull can my children will follow after a year or 6 months after I landed. This will give me ample time to settle.

Family members can take up to 6 months to follow, I believe. But no longer. And it's a good idea if you come back through immigration with them to make sure they aren't delayed for some reason.

They have to enter within the validity of their visa, which would be one year from the date of the medicals.
