Hi all, i will be the principal applicant in our intention with the MPNP propgram. My husband has two children with another woman, do i have to include them with my application in MPNP? If we do, do we have to allocate 2,000CAD for each child? We are 3 in the family now as we have 1 child so the money that we have to put in bank is 14,000CAD, right?
so if we will include his 2 other children, does it mean that we have to show 18,000 bank deposit even if the other 2 children will not be with us if ever we migrate?

I think you don't have to include the "other" 2 kids in your application. Just the 3 of you. 14,000 CAD is the amount of settlement funds that you need and not 18,000.

And Carl, you might have an idea on the Manitoba Nominee Application Center. Ive checked the website n ow and it says that they give free assistance on the completion of the application forms as well as advice on documents. do you think I can register with them even if Im from the Philippines? Only telephone number is shown to register with them.

Hi kcee. I think he can still get to sponsor the other 2 in the future. In your application for permanent resident visa, it will be the 3 of you. However, in the Additional Family information sheet, he must declare the other 2 so that CIC will have a record of them. This will be important if the time comes when he decides to sponsor them. I would also encourage you to do more research regarding your situation with the other 2.

Regarding the MB Nominee Application Center, yes I am aware of that but I have no idea regarding registering with them. Likewise I do not know anybody who was able to seek assistance from them regarding their application. But I am sure you can ask help from them even if you are outside Canada. I know somebody who applied to MPNP and his application was returned due to lacking documents. MPNP enclosed a letter together with all his documents, and likewise gave information to the applicant regarding asking for assistance from the MB Nominee Application Center.

Hi there. I am from Manila, Philippines. I honestly do not recommend using the services of consultancy agencies. You can do everything on your own. Regarding other matters, you can ask the help of other people, like those in forums like this. I am saying this because I know a lot of people who have successfully landed in Canada without using such services. There is really nothing wrong with it except for the expenses involved, which is quite hefty. Good luck!

Regarding the settlement plan, do i have to upload it on the forms and documents after completion? I got confused because there was a part in the form that says that after i have submitted my application, they will send an email to my close relative on how to endorse the plan.
Will my relative still endorse it even if i have uploaded it on the forms and documents?

Hi there. The settlement plan part 1 you have to download, fill up, and upload like the other documents. Make sure you discuss your answers to your Manitoba relative or sponsor. Part 2 is the responsibility of your sponsor. You can download it and send it to your sponsor so he can prepare his answers. Nevertheless, after you submit your online application, you will get an email from MPNP as acknowledgement and likewise give you your file number. They will also get in touch with your sponsor and send him a copy of settlement plan part 2. This he must download and print, fill up and sign. He must send it back to MPNP either as an email attachment, or send it via mail or personally hand it over to MPNP in Winnipeg.

Hi. They are 2 different things. MAS is part of by mail applications. Settlement Plan part 1 and 2 are parts of the online application.

MAS is not a requirement for Online applications. What you need to upload is Settlement Plan Part 1. The online tool will instruct you specifically what documents you need to upload.
