Dear All
I have posted similar question earlier too however seeking further clarity. Apologies in advance if I get repetitive.
Myself, my wife and my son landed in Canada and came back to Dubai after obtaining our PR cards. Now our PR cards expire in June '18 by which date we will not be able to complete 730 days RO and will be significantly short.
Meanwhile, we had our second son in Dubai who does not have a PR and have never been to Canada.
We were advised that we can try to enter through US / Canada land border where there are high chances of TRP being issued for our younger son. We applied for US visa of our family which was rejected.
Now I was thinking to apply visa from Canadian Embassy in Abu Dhabi for my son and have the following questions:
1. Should I be applying for a TRV or a TRP ?
2. Should I just mention that this TRV is being applied for a child born outside Canada to accompany PR parents who are also currently in Dubai or should I mention full details? The reason for us not making to Canada was primarily due to health issues of my mother and my wife.
3. If either TRV or TRP gets issued, what are the chances that it will get renewed while living in Canada.
