Hi Folks, I hope everyone is well and keeping safe.

Need some suggestion on my 8 months old son's PR application.

I sponsored his PR application back in Nov 2020 and received the temporary application number today. I have linked the application to my online profile.

At the time of submitting the application, I was not working in Canada (moved from Ireland) and hence applied as unemployed but we did submit our bank statements to show the savings (which were enough for few years). Now, I got a job last month and was wondering if I need to inform CIC about my job? Any suggestions?

Also, any idea when can expect the AOR? we got the temporary application number (starts with F..) in exactly 3 months.

Hey. Congratulations on your application number. The number starting with F000XXXXXX is the application number, so that would be your AOR if you received an email with your UCI and that application number. The temporary application number would have started with XF000XXXXXX. So congrats.
Regarding your employment status, I was unemployed when I started my son's application in April 2020, and when I got a job I attached the offer letter with my first payslip and submitted a webform, hoping it would speed up the sponsor approval. I would suggest you do the same, it won't hurt the application, but will strengthen it. Best of luck
