Hi,

My wife and I recently received our Canadian work permits. I have indicated that our 3 month old son will be joining us in the application (IMM5645E), but saw no mention of him in the response we got. We are from a visa exempt country (Israel), so getting there should not be a problem, but if I understand correctly, he could only stay there for six months. How do I arrange it so that he could stay with us the duration of my stint (3 years)?

Thanks

1. Your son as his TRV exempt, has to have you apply for an ETA on his behalf. When he arrives in Canada with you, he will be most likely given a visitor's permit for the same length of time as your work permits.
