My wife is Canadian citizen and i am permanent resident of Canada we have a baby born outside Canada since she is is Canadian citizen my question is that whether the baby born is Canadian citizen if we apply for his Canadian passport. Thanks
If your wife was born in Canada or was naturalized in Canada before the child was born, then the child is Canadian.
If your wife is Canadian by descent, meaning she was born outside of Canada to Canadian parents, the child is not Canadian and will need to be sponsored for PR.
