I am currently a PR holder. My wife is expecting to deliver baby but outside Canada. Please let me procedure / steps / docs to follow so that the baby may be given permission to travel back to Canada in few months time.

Apply for visit visa. If it is not approved then you need to apply for PR. If the child is born in Canada, then child will get Canadian citizenship.

Hi All
I got Canadian PR back in year 2014 as FSW and my family (wife and two children) all got PR status. As i was doing my PhD in UK so i took my family back, where in 2015 my daughter born. i have completed my research work and now in Toronto, but my family is back i Pakistan as i couldn't bring my daughter here.
Q1, Can i apply for visit visa for my daughter, so that we all can unite here, and what are the chances of getting visa for her?
Q2 if i apply for here sponsorship, than how will i show adequate money here as don't have job and no tax returns?
Q3 will i be the only sponsor or my wife who is not here should be the co-signer?
Q4. which forms i will be filling?

Any other relevant suggestion?
thanks
Shoaib

Hi

1. Yes, you an apply for a TRV. Some get it, some don't. If it's refused, you can try for a TRP.

2. You can show savings, investments, income potential, family assistance etc.

3. You will be the sponsor, as you are the one residing in Canada. There is no need for a co-signer.
