CHILD BORN IN CANADA AND IMMIGRATION OFFICE NAME

Dear Experts,

I need some help from your end in order to RE-fill my PR application under CEC(Canadian experience class).

My application has been returned as they didn't accept date of birth certificate by Indian Consulate.


Here is my Questions:

Question 1 : I am blessed with baby boy in Canada on July 08th ,2014.Now do i have to include his details in GENERIC APPLICATION FORM FOR CANADA :IMM 0008 ? If answer is no then do i still need to mentioned in Question 3 in same form that, HOW MANY FAMILY MEMBERS,INCLUDING YOU ,ARE IN THIS APPLICATION : 2 OR 3 (SHOULD I COUNT my SON HERE)

I've looked in the post and PPL suggested that you can add the detail in the Additional Family Information (IMM 5406)...Is that correct?



Question 2: IMMIGRATION OFFICE REQUESTED FOR PROCESSING THIS APPLICATIONQUESTION 4 IN IMM 008)

Initially I’ve mentioned CPP-OTTAWA, however when they return my application then have mentioned with hand note here as CPR ?

Hence please suggest what should be the office name here: CPP-O OR CPR?

I was exactly in same situation as yours (Son born in Canada). You only provide his details in the Additional Family Information (IMM 5406) form. You don't have to include him in Dependent in the IMM008 Generic Application Form. And answer to Question 3 would be 2. (Don't count your son)

It should be CPP-Ottawa.

Thanks Kumar,Also one more question for you- Have you submitted birth certificate and photos of new born child with application.

Yes, i submitted the birth certificate of my son along with me and my wife.. Photos are not required...
