I’m applying for my spouse sponsorship and we have a child together . They are asking for the child birth certificate, I want to know if they want the original one or photocopy cause I will be travelling outside the country and I have to carry my child birth certificate with me during that time

You'll have to look at country specific instructions. But in most cases, they do not ask for originals - usually photocopies or certified copies, if not in english or french, copy + certified translation.
