Hi We arrived here in Canada last Oct 2022 and got our WP last June 2023. Started working August 2023 and filed for my kids Child benefit last April 20. Now I got email saying my kids are not eligible because they did not meet residency requirements.. can anyone please help understand this and how to go about this?... thanks so much for any feedback!

You are not eligible until you have worked on your WP for 18 months. It has only been a year so when you reach 18 months you should be eligible based on your income.
