Dear Friends,

We are newly landed immigrants and have applied for Child benefit and GST HST Credit through postal application. The issues is that these forms were sent by Canada Post on 29th Nov 2017 from Brampton and were supposed to reach in 2 business days [to be signed by the receiver] but unfortunately Canada Post still shows in transit.I have already raised this through their website but have not heard from them yet, despite almost 26 days.

In the event, it is lost, is there a way to apply through online? It appears that without filing taxes for 2017, I may not be able to apply online for Child benefit and GST HST Credit [not sure if this could be done online]

Is there a way to check whether these docs reached the Sudbury Tax Centre
PO Box 20000 STN A
Sudbury ON P3A 5C1

Any contact details available for this, that will hopefully confirm if the documents have reached?

Do I need to send in another application? If yes, what is the way to do this online? The agent on the phone told me that the best way to do this online, but I am unable to do this.... despite multiple attempts..

Any experiences or insights that other may have had....

Thanks in advance.
