I am Canadian Citizen father of a child born abroad , applying for Passport for child . confuse in Form PPTC 042 . Parent Or Legal Guardian , And Other Guardian
I am father mean Application ( Legal Guardian ) , what about other guardian , does is it mean my Wife ( mother of the child) ? if yes then i have to show our relationship proof date of marriage as mention in the form.
Meanwhile i am applying for both Canadian citizenship certificate as well as passport as told by Embassy of country of residence , but in the Form PPTC 042 , Asking
Provide one (1) of the documents listed below (original only):
(to be completed if the child was born in Canada) Birth certificate in Canada
Certificate of Canadian citizenship
but i dont have either one , but i was told to leave it blank and the passport will be issue to your child within 20 business days , and certificate will take upto 12 months , is that right , should i go about doing this ?
