hi guys..

I have receipts from my travel to see my spouse.

I am in the middle of getting the application ready.

I know cic is looking for receipts,,,my question is some of the receipts are getting light as the ink is starting to fade away.

does cic need original receipts or can I make copies of it and send them over.

also, can I put clear tape over the receipts and tape them to a piece of paper so that the ink at least will not fade anymore.

thanks to anyone who will take time off to reply to my post.

Thanks

Unless they ask for original receipts (pretty sure they don't), then you can send copies. I have a cheap Epson 'printer / scanner / copier'. I put all my receipts on the scanner, scanned them in greyscale and printed them out on A4 (multiple receipts per sheet where I could). I then handwrote any additional info on the printed page regarding each receipt. Just make sure the scanned images are still legible.
