well as a photocopy of the biodata page.

Family Information Form and Student Questionnaire (leaving no gaps).

Two passport photographs with a white background for yourself and each family
member requesting a visa. The photographs should have your name printed on the
back, dated and taken in the past 6 months.

Letter of Acceptance from your educational institute in Canada stating unconditional
admission, course title, duration of study, level of study, start date (multiple start
dates, if applicable) and latest possible date of admission.

You MUST submit the following:

Use of a Representative form (IMM 5476) (if applicable)

The following documents are STRONGLY recommended:

IELTS test results taken within last 24 months

Photocopy of the most recent diploma/leaving certificate, and most recent
mark sheets (for entire program; consolidated mark sheets are NOT acceptable)

Other educational certificates diplomas/degrees (including mark sheets)

PREFERRED OPTION for proof of funds: you can fulfill the financial requirement by
submitting a copy of an Educational Loan from an Indian Chartered Bank equivalent to at
least first year's tuition plus $10 000 CAD to cover living and travel expenses for one year.
See information on the following page for the list of acceptable banks

Copy of receipts for payment provided by the University (pre-payment of first term is
strongly recommended)

Form 16 for salaried employees or income tax return document.



Scholarships or any financial assistance or award from a government or other
funding agency must be presented on official letter stating the full amount of the
award, its duration and any governing conditions.

Reference letter from the individual(s) providing you financial assistance for your
program. The letter must indicate their occupation and relationship to you, the number
of dependents they have and their full contact details. You should also provide a letter
from the employer of the individual(s) providing you financial assistance for your
program, clearly indicating employer contact details and full street address of business
location.

my consultant also told that these documents are imp to show dat u have enough funds or property to study in canada and u will not stay in canada...every1 include these documents in general category i think...

Its not important to stick with Checklist whatever the consultant says or not

I have submitted documents and those are below:

1. Study Permit (IMM 1294) + Family Information (IMM 5645)
3. 2 passport size photo
4. Processing Fee receipt
5. Notarized copy of current passport (all pages)+ Notarized copy of previous passport (information pages)+ 1 info page copy of Current Passport (don't need to notarize)
6. Notarized photocopy of Birth Certificate + National ID
7. Copy of Letter of Acceptance (scanned printed) + 1st semester fee receipt
8. Educational Documents Notarized photocopy copy includes-
a) Bachelor degree+ H.S.C. (12)+ S.S.C (10) certificate and transcript
9. IELTS notarized photocopy + Study Plan + Original Police Clearance Certificate
12. Proof of sufficient funds: Bank Certificates & Statements of sponsor with Mother’s Provident fund notarized documents + print out a currency convert rate from www.oanda.com/currency/converter/
13. Fixed Assets and Other Source of Income
a) Land & Real Estate Property translated notarized deeds
b) CA firm evaluation report (Original & Notarized)
c) House Rent deeds notarized photocopy with rent receipts & currents bill
14. Original letters of employment of Father & Mother (sponsors)+ 6 months Pay slip+ Salary statement of last 6 months. (all documents are Notarized)
15. Parents Income Tax documents of last 2 years (all documents are Notarized)
16. My original employment certificate+ Leave letter (Notarized)
17. Sponsor Declaration Affidavit on 300 taka stamp & notarized+ A written explanation as to the source of fund

Note That: I am from BD and its mandatory for us to submit notarized documents as we don't have to submit original documents.

Property Evaluation will increase the strength of your file. It's not mandatory to show property of your name. It could be from your parents too.

the check list is min requirements whatever u add is not gonna hurt ur case......think of it like passing marks if 40 out of 100 is passing marks what ever u get above 40 is good....

I did exactly same. This is the best list to follow.

Now you will be applying under general category so you must have possible all above mentioned documents to secure your visa.
If it takes time then apply for next term but prepare your best

Hello , I have completed 2 yrs adv diploma in hotel mgmt(2005-2007), after tht I went to Australia for further studies but couldn't complete it however I was working there part time until my visa finished but not working illegally ( as I have tax returns slips n police clearance) I came back in march 2011 since then I m working as restaurant manager for 2.5 yrs now. Therefor now I have gap for 6 years since my last completed studies in 2007 . However I got the offer letter for pg prog from college which comes in spp recognised category. So my question is which programme (spp or general) I should file up my student visa fees ? Also I m not taking bank loan as I have enough funds in fixed deposits n saving account ? So plz help I need your advice ! Also wht are my chances for visa approval ?

i am applying for student visa under SPP program.
but my agent asking for following documents too.
1. father's income proof.
2. land property documents.
3. Bank balance around 5 Lacks.

Shoud i submit these documents with visa file?. is there any bad effects of additional documents like these?.
