Checking Status Using Check Application Status Tool

I submitted my Paper application at VFS Bangalore on 9th May and wanted to check the status using Online tool.The Only data that is available on VFS acknowledgement letter is:
Tracking Id
Reference No

I was trying to use the Online tool but it was all vain.The tool was not able to retrieve my details.Also linking online didnt work.

The Receipt No is not printed on the acknowledgment letter received from VFS.

Please Help.

To know the application's status, you'll have your link your paper application to MyCIC:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/e-services/mycic.asp

If you're checking VFS's site, it'll only tell you where (physical location) the application is.
