Checking status tracker abroad

Hello everyone.

Has anyone ever read anything about checking the citizenship application status tracker online while outside of Canada?

Is there any evidence that this is something IRCC monitors? Could it trigger one of those ‘we’ll schedule you for your oath when you provide evidence of your return’ emails?

I have a hard time thinking they would go as far as doing something like that based upon a login to the tracker. I'd think that they would at the very least reach out in that case since they know people use VPN's daily. If anything I'm sure it would be easier and more reliable for them to check for a CBSA exit record (which wouldn't surprise me if they check for).
