Checking on status of PR application

I applied for a renewal of my PR on H&C grounds in February and have since received no word from the authorities. I've tried checking my status on the CIC website using my PR card number and receipt number and in both cases the website is "unable to identify [me] using the information provided (sic)"

Is there any other way to see how my application is coming along? Is there anything I can do to fast track it? I had included a proof of travel as well as a note on the cover saying that this proof of travel was enclosed, however, its been 4 months since the date I said I'd be leaving Canada.

Any help and guidance is appreciated

H&C grounds make your application non routine so forget about urgent fast processing though CIC which can be full of surprises may mail you the card soon. What was your days shortfall and why didn't you wait to get to 730 days?

no sorry, my days werer not short at. i meant i am not able to checka pplication status online, i sent it for ugrent renewal with ticket for travelling out on may1st. i ccalled them to check status it says processing on phone. when i checked online today, it says

these is what it shows, but there is no link i can click on to check any status, just a place for check box before "Please remove the ability for me or anyone else to view the status of my application and address information on this Web site.

Check the status using your client-id option. Your client ID is eight digit number on the front side of your PR card in the format 1234-5678. Do not enter '-' in the field. You should be able to check the status. Let us know, if that helped and keep posting your status on this forum.

So it works with or without - , I was trying to check from work comp n cell phone,due to security reasons it was showing up on both. I tried from laptop at home n it worked. Status so far on Friday was in process.
