checking my application on line

When i go this link i will be able to check my application process on line when i supply the customer id. ok i have submitted my case to Mississauga nearly 2 weeks ago. i already have kid id. So when i go there and check nothing will display and says not available why ? Do i have to wait until i get approval letter from there first to check my status ? what kind of things we can check there ? and since when as i says does i have to wait for approval ?

My case is Family class pr program submitted all documents to Mississauga

I have representative
medical done
local police report done
pr papers filled
evidence done
application fee done + sponser fee 75 done sended slip to them
ALL completed and send it once to Mississauga together with sponsor papers
Full completed papers sended to Mississauga ( things i mentioned all submitted to Mississauga) same time

Do you have Client#? I used client# every time I log in to check the status on my application. and I fill in my last name, date of birth and place of birth.

It depends...some get apps approved within 3 weeks some end up waitin for more than 2months..(There are still applicants from Jan 2010 who are waiting for approval....) lets hope that you will not have to wait that long..

why this guys take long time ? why this entering to Canada is so hard like this? what i valuable there? hee he i guess entering to states is really easier lol

This is the just the begining..after you get the approval from CIC the app gets sent to the SL embassy..thats evne a longer waiting period..I think its between 8-14 months now...in SL....

It is important that you understand that the approval for sponsorship is not the only approval you need. The important piece is what happens at the Embassy, this is your approval for PR stats and your Visa.

The sponsorship approval is a clearance for your spouse to sponsor you to enter.

You have a long wait ahead my friend.

GUYS GUYS LISTEN i checked today about it on line its Available its shows all details ok ... case submitted January but they send me back 3 times because of application error . so that's why i use a representative. they gave me 3 moths time to submit this letter, ok because of distance since i;m sri lanka it took long time for me to send complete thing to Vancouver my immigration lawyer, any way that 3 moth suppose to be completed around may 5. but my lawyer post the application 1 and half week a go to cic, but hmm in web site says they receive this application on 6 ok these are the details in that my status on line says

We received the application that you resubmitted on May 6, 2010.

We sent you a letter on May 6, 2010 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.


Guys so if they receive my letter on 6 th how come they make decision on same day says and send me a letter about decision ?

please help ... let me know whats going on ? why i cant see the decision here ?

Holy crap man, relax.

You should try search the forum, a vast majority of the people's applications are OPENED and decided on the same day.

It doesn't mean they recieved it on the 6th, that is the day the opened it. So they opened it and made the decision for sponsorship on the same day.

Relax and wait for the letter. There is nothing much more you can do but wait.
