Checking ECAS Status with Receipt Number

When I use the receipt number to check my ECAS status, do I use my details (surname etc) or my sponsor's details?

You need to use your Sponsor's details. There are high chances that the Receipt number won't work though. It never worked for me. So just a heads up.

What else can I use to login if the receipt number doesn't work? So far the receipt number is all that I have.

I used the UCI number forever and all I got was a message saying there was not status. Today on a whim I used the application number from an email I rec'd and I got a much different, more detailed page with my spouse's name and other info on it. The status was "Application Received", but at least it said something that I recognized!

UCI id number is same as the sponsor's PR card number, so try with those number and you need to fill the sponsor's last name , dob, place of birth. I hope this will help you

I used my UCI number after I got SA confirmation from the Call Centre. The agent was very helpful and gave me my UCI number. After that I had no issue checking my online status.

My sponsor is a Canadian citizen so he won't have a PR card number?
