Checking application status on CIC website.

I am applying through buffalo and I have already received my AOR about 3 months ago. When I go online to check my application status, there is nothing there.

Would my application status only show on CIC website once they do the IA (initial Assessment) or is it supposed to be showing already?

The website should show "In process" once you receive ur AOR. Sometimes the status does not change after every stage and sometimes there are cases where ppl say they have recd visas and status shows in process.U might want to write an e-mail to CIC asking the same query. Rest assured there is nothing wrong with your case.
