I just created a mock reference letter and will pass it to my boss as a guideline to create ORIGINAL reference letter
Is my reference letter OK or need some changes ??? Let me know what i should add or delete too ..
Also, my duties are NOT NOT excatly the same from NOC 6212, so is that OK ??
This letter of reference is to certify that (this person) has work for more than one year as a full-time Shift Manager, fast food restaurant (NOC 6212) in (ABC company) from 08/04/2010 to 07/19/2011. As a full-time Shift Manager, (this person) main responsibilities are to supervise the operations of a shift to ensure that food safety, product preparation, cleanliness standards, and inventory control standards are maintained. This also includes scheduling, training and supervising staff.
His main duties are to:
1. Estimate and complete the order forms and sent it to supplier for deliveries
2. Practice inventory control standards and perform paperwork duties as needed
3. Calculate and post the amount of food preparation required throughout a shift
4. Coordinates, schedules and supervises staff who prepare food, serve customers and perform cleaning duties
5. Train newer or less experienced employees in their tasks and responsibilities
6. Inspect equipments and storage facilities throughout a shift to ensure that equipments are in proper working order
7. Ensure that food safety, exceptional customer service and operations standards are maintained
As a full-time Shift Manager, he was working 40 hours per week with an annual salary at $xxxxx (xxxx thousand, xx hundred and x dollars) including benefits such as paid sick hours and two weeks paid vacation.
