down at bottom when u open the document check list its different from the link above...just need clarity please.
Also..i ask this question b4 but i ask again...if i go in person at NYC office while in US how long b4 can i get bk my passport after applying i only be in US for 9 days....i would also taking my mom application since i want to take her to canada...she authorise me to conduct her business ...how long will her application take to process..i am 30 yrs an qualified in my field of study...bank balance of 30K US so i can more than afford to take mom on vacation....i am from the Caribbean
I would submit both checklists. On the second link you gave it says this:
"Many visa offices have specific local instructions about which documents you must submit with your application. Consult the list of Canadian visa offices to find the office responsible for your country and what requirements and procedures you must follow when you apply."
you went directly to the NYC site, and they listed that as a requirement - so definitely send it. Either way, it wont hurt your application if the end up preferring one over the other.
In regards to how long it will take to get your passport back, in looking at the NYC site, even if you take it in person it could take approx 30 days. It also says to apply 3 months in advance due to a new system they are putting in place or somehing.
