Is it updated once a week? What day? Also are the estimated application times accurate? 13 months for Mexico for example? TIA!

They are quite accurate!.
Mine was inland, 1 year 4 months...

For the first stage outland it is updated once a week usually on wednesdays! I think the secong stage is updates less frequently....usually the second stage goes a little faster than what it says on the website. The first stage is pretty accurate though.

it depend about each officer who work on the application. Mine, he (or she) never put any update since july 2011 (now 8 months later). I called the canadian immigration in Canada (telecenter) and the officer told me, it depend about the officer who currently work on your application. Some will make an update,some will not do, even if on the cic website they said updated every weeks.
