CHC London queries and replies

Dear everybody,

I forwarded application under Federal Skilled category in 2009.My Local office is CHC London. The application is been processed from 2010 and had two interviews(1.Principal applicant and spouse 2. Spouse). Status shows in Process and are still not being called for medical. Queried(via e-mail) about the status and received the reply as following:

"Your file is still being reviewed by Citizenship and Immigration Canada headquarters. The appropriate section will be made aware of your enquiry. You will be notified when we hear from them."

Please could you explore the above statement further that I received from CHC London.

I wonder why my file has been sent back to the headquarters from London office for review? Why the CHC London can't finalise my file even after CHC London has received all required documents,interviews including the full report of background checkup. (according to the CSIS, the security screening has been sent to London in February 2011)

may be theyare suspecious of some back ground related t ity

OR u may be from army and have served some where which they might not be ignoring but wont be having any legal stance to say no

YES, Your guess is exactly right. I’m the applicant and my husband has served to police few years ago. but surely(100%) he has not go bad records. In that case, as per to your knowledge how long they can hold my application?

*as I mentioned we had two interviews and also we answered to a question(Some clarifications) through an e-mail. also CSIS sent their report within 2 days. (Screening Request received to CSIS from CHC London on 24th Feb 2011 and replied to CHC London in 26th Feb 2011)
