You mean the customs declaration form??

My brothers wife received this email from Islamabad for those doing re-medical,

Also note that before you email them that you provide them with your appointment date so they can note that and put a BF'D 8 days after your Appointment to prevent extended BF'D.

Dear Client,

A time extension of 30 days has been granted to you. Please submit all requested items in the specified time frame.

No further requests for time extension will be considered.

today i emailed embassy for the 3rd time informing them about my matter, that i haven't received letter yet, but still no reply.
I'm Aug AOR but no updates yet, neither received forms request nor remedical, i don't know what is the matter and why are they delaying so much.

Guys...I need help!

So my husband just rec'd his re-med request, later dated Aug 12, rec'd Aug 19th. Now, they say they give 30 days for medical to be booked and if it isn't than they assume that we want case to be dropped, this is what the letter says. Now, the only problem is that he is in karachi and for karachi there are 2 DMP tht were listed on the list provided, Rohina Sattar and Abdul Wakil. Rohina Sattar is going on away so she has no avail appointments for this month and Abdul Wakil the earliest possible aapointment we can get is September 26, even after we explained that this is a re medical and we are given a 30 day time frame....

The problem is that Sept. 26 is past Aug 19th and past the 30 day time line...do you think this will cause a problem with our case? I feel that they want everything mailed conducted within the 30 dyays and this is next to impossible in our case...because v r unable to get early dates...

Has this happened to anyone before...I don't know what to do...sort of in a panic mode...dont want themt o assumet hat we r no longer insterested (as it says in the letter they sent out)

Hii....yes the same thing happened with us..but u r lucky u hav recieved the request letter really very soon as the letter dated Aug 12 n u hav rec'd it on Aug 19....in my case we recieved the letter almost after 20 days n we had only 10 Days to book the appointment...but as u know DR.Roohina n DR.Wakil both hav stopped giving appointments for this month...but thanks to God..after requesting alot Dr.Roohina's assistant gave the appointment for this month...i guess everyone is facing the same problem whoever is getting re-med now a days.. all we have to do is send an Extension letter and inform CHC-I about all this...i hope they will understand.. ans1) depends.. usually 4-6 weeks.. but I know a case when she rcvd her PPR request within a week of getting re-med..
so there are exceptions either ways..

ans2) I think they usually give you 45 days to comply, but the sooner you send it, the better.

ans3) I got my re-medical through registered mail, no TCS or fedex. Passport I've heard they request through TCS, but not sure cz am still waiting for mine.

Thanks alot for the info...but i hav heard that they give only 15 days to send the passport back to them..
