Everyone. Firstly congrats to all the members here who got their ppr recently. Inshallah you people will be on your way to Canada soon. My wife submitted her ppr and remed together on the 15th of April 2011. There was silence till last week 23rd of May 2011 when her case status on the internet changed from "in process" to "decision made". She has still not received her passport back. I mean it has been month and half since she sent her passport with remed. It has also been 1 week now with the updated status online. Please people if any one can tell me "Aur kitna time lagay ga"....I pray ke baqi sab logo ka bhi visa jaldi ajai..Inshallah..

bhai mostly 2 say 2.5 months lagty hain jin k re-med with ppr aya hai so don't worry Inshallah bhabhi g will receive her pp very soon

Dear Forum Members,

2 questions regarding Re-med.

The re-med letter says to bring "negative of passport-size photograph for person to be examined". Is this necessary? Has any member who recently did re-med take this with them?

To make an appointment do you have to go to the DMP office? Is it not possible to get an appointment over the phone?

so i guess now all the 2009 applicants have recieved ppr...shukar ALLAH ka..

and i think 4 logon kay passport gaye hain , my hubbys,maximus bro,ali shah and now jia..,,...i hope bas sab kay jaldi jaldi aajaeenn wapis....

and i also hope all other applicants get their visa asap and interview of one2ka4 bro gets waived

Can you share the name of the photo studio and where it is in Karachi?

Do you have to get the re-med done from the same DMP office you got the 1st time or can it be from a different location?

She got it done from Shakeel Studio on Gulberg chorangi in F.B Area. And No, you don't have to go to the same DMP for your remedical.

InshAllah soon brother! Since your status has changed to "Desicion Made" mean your process is finalized and its just matter of mailing out the passport and all the original documents that they have of yours. Also, you mentioned thats its been a week already so expect it to arrive this week if not next week and if you don't hear anything then I would shoot them an email to see whats happening..
