Don't worry about crazy MP NOT doing their filing the right way!! Same happend with me when I went to MP the second time. She said "have you been here before cause I don't have your hubby's file#"!!! Keep sending them your hearty emails at least once a month and forget about giving them MPs time to settle...go bug them ;D

I took my hubby to Toronto downtown yesterday. I was so hungry so I saw this store with HALAL sign on it and went inside saw the certificate and ordered! When we were done eating, I started conversation with the owner and finaly he said "for me heart is important!! who follows 100% of Islam to follow Halal or no Halal??" F**king owner sh*t with false certificate I realy do hate how people are using the work Halal to make money may allah burn their a*s in hell!!!!

I Want to share something with everyone who is in Toronto and nearby cities .... there is a famous Halal Grocery Store in throncliffe Pk Dr ( I hope you got the name ) that is selling expired rivayat masalas ( like shan masalas )..... They had a greater stock left even after the expired date has passed then suddenly they took them off the shelves for a month ( may be someone complained ) .... and now when i went there 2 days back they are selling the same masalas after taking out the sachet from the box ( since expiry date was only mentioned on the box not on the sachet inside ) .... So thats called Cheating at its peaks , letting others suffer just to avoid their economic loss .

my family and i were just discussing how ridiculous the 21 month timeline is.....and now this, im trying not to get dpressed but what else can i do......23 freaking months!!!!!!!!!!

salam and good morning all forum members i come with an update today as my AOR shows under my name my Hubby received same as all of you guys request for RE-PCC and supplementary forms a copy of my PR card that is all they asked the forms they reques if (imm0008 and imm5406) that is all we got after 10months of waiting what will be the next step i dont know

First of all congrats for your update some thing is better than nothing and second i am so upset of this timline increase to 23rd months finally it will go up to 27th months like Abu Dabi i think this is the way *censored word*ing kenny works for immigration

Site is down today, they are upgrading it, It will be back on Monday. Who knows they will update the timeline also to 26 months

Yeah I noticed that too its confirmed 23rd. See Told YA guys last week that increase timelime line is comming when e-case status was not working and site was being down for maintinance, When the pilot will sit on seat after election watch out the ride. Infect we are at no.1 in ASIAPAC region table.

If u have a good reason for extension of the time like i have requested my husband pcc from united states of america n they r taking 40 day to give it us but on the letter it says i have to comply within 30 days so i mailed them receipt of the pcc n tracking number showing that i have already applied n would submit it once i get it..
so like if u a genuine reason n a prove with u then u can...

I applied for sponsorship in may10 , file was sent to ISB in june, she got acknowledgement from ISB and request for more info in august!!!

we had initially planned to do it in march - hoping the timeline give in CIC's letter for 9 months would be HONORED!!! sadly after tailing this forum and immigration.ca forum, reading what others go through, nothing happened and than the letter came !!!

we got the patented "non-genuine letter" requesting for proof of on-going relation etc!!! on April 22!!
the last day to send the response back is June 3"

now i am going to pakistan on june 2 to do rukhsati!!! not done before because of gazillion reasons!!

we have composed 80% of our reply explaining and highlighting their concerns (including our daily chat history, emails, telecons), but my uncle wants us to get our feedback checked by a immigration lawyer!

now i know that i can send in the pictures of the functions and all other pics at a later date!! honestly we are confused in what to do
whether get a lawyer involved, do it ourselves and give CIC to a chance to have reasons to deny my application


anyways!! thats my little story so far!! any suggestions

Brother I honestly don't think you should hire a lawyer at all. Just do the whole rukhsati and walima and after parties and take gazilion pictures and send them to CHC-I ASAP with an explaination letter and wait, hopefully everything will be cleared soon after that. If you bring lawyer into it, he or she will only be interested in their money and will pass the same information you tell them to CHC-I. They are no help and they will hold your mail until you pay their full fees. Thats just my thinking!!!

Bhai no need to deal with a lawyer as he/she cannt do anything in this case. Also no need to write the full bible story in regards to explaination as those letters will be simply scanned and placed on your file with out even full reading and understanding. "Rukhsati not done & marriage is not genuine" has been entered in CAIPS and in their system. From now on they will stick to this point unless a proof is provided to change this.

Here what I suggest:
1)Write a breif letter that you are visiting PK on June 2 (Attach ticket copy) with the intention to perform the Rukhsati.
2) If possible mention the Rukhsati event date & invitation card
3)Once you are in PK take pic's - Than Rukhsati pic's - Than after rukhsati life pic's and send to them. If possible attach the marriage hall receipt or anyother related stuff you want to attach.

Dont worry about the timeline, they are not going to refuse your case nor do they are that much fast in making decesions. Your file will sit as it is with the excuse that interview is require with the intention that applicant become sick and provide the requested proof. I have gone through with the same.

FYI - Same letter rec'd in Oc/2010 - Letter responded. Since than file is in interveiw with no date as of last email and probably wont have a date atleast in this world life. Me also going in June to PK now.

This is getting ridiculous. I was hoping that they would reduce the timeline in the next update and now they increased it to 23 months?

I should move back to Pakistan and spend this time with my wife rather than going through this torture.
