well he is not supposed to make such a statement if you screw him up, he wont call your wife next time to follow up on your case and he might just be being empathic to her not realizing that she may get offended, depends if he said it in sarcastic tone or empathetic tone and by the way it is a reality that we get punished for marrying in Pakistan and we all wonder the very tough choice we made in our lives, despite I agree that it was not his position to make personal statement and he is not an employee of CIC, they are not even Govt employees though funded by Govt, your wife can talk to her MP is she wants to complain

Well I wouldn't tell my wife to make matters worse by confrontation, that wouldn't be a sensible thing to do in the present situation. However, this statement clearly shows what they think about people emigrating to Canada. After all, Canada 'is' the land of emigrants and they can never change that!

In addition to above tell you wife to order CAIPS note in Canada, If she hasnt done yet. Notes will give you clear pictures as why there is a delay and why they need to conduct an interview. Atlast tell your wife not to vote Conservative on May 2 election.

When did she ordered CAIPS. If ordered after hearing about interview than there must be a reason for interview and that reason must need to write on CAIPS, please review notes one more time.

was ur marriage with all rituals performed and did you voluntarily provide proof of ongoing relationship to almighty CHC-Isb, also what did CAIPS say about security check, sometimes they can schedule interview for security check verification purposes and not to discuss the relationship

Duno man, they are just havin a laugh that's it! I was intimated that I was in queue for interview before I ordered Caips, which obviously did not depict any reason for the interview. Anyway, I got my Nikka done in May 2009, Rukhsati took place in Jan 2011. I've sent them pictures, proof of ongoin relationship everything I can possibly think of which may help in expediting the case but to no avail.

By the way, Allah is the only Almighty, CIC is full of ****

Hello everyone !! .. Finally .. allah ka shuker hai ... received a letter from Islamabad after exact 12 months .... they asked for re police certificate and some forms again .. like additional family info .. and bkgrnd declration .. etc ... .. soo ppl From April 2010 AOR ... don't lose hope .. inshallah u'll receive a positive response from islamabad this month...

and can anyone plz tell me the average time it'll take for ppr after submitting the required docs ??

cic is requesting proof of sponsor's visit, I am a canadian citizen. When i got married i went back to canada for 11months then came to pakistan its been a year since iam here. Should i send in a copy of my passport with enrty stamp also have boarding pass. I was thinking they might question why iam not in canada. Should i just send in pics of anniversary instead since 2nd anniversary is in couple days.

this is their way to know your current location ................ next thing they are going to bug you on is ............. if we grant visa to your spouse how do you assure us that both of you will settle in Canada. I guess you have to provide them what they are asking for ......... Proof of visit, there is no going around it and that will only waste your time, in my humble opinion ofcourse

I am not sure about sending the link because I know for sure it is a blocked site at Federal Govt offices in Canada, unless they have made an exception of CHC-Islamabad and also then you need to keep your facebook account open to anyone's acess exposing your personal pictures to anyone to be abused. you can send them screen shots of facebook comments made on each other

i hv an objection...y evry other person is commenting tht u shud not marry outside canada......it really hurts....its too late to regret....whts done is done...face it....u ppl r facing it per aisa nahn kehna chahiay....tell me if u ppl get a chance to undo ur marriages....wil u do it...... :-\
