CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2009 -2010

I have been a silent reader of this forum for a while, and must mention that this forum is a bright light for all those have to bear anguish of long waiting times to reunite with their spouse. People like Wes786 deserve a very honorable mention for their insightful guidance to other readers.

Now I just wanted to share a good news: Finally, my wife got her ppr yesterday. The AOR was Sept. 2010, and re-med was was done on Aug. 30, along with re-submission of pcc and other immi forms. The overall process took about 15 months.

One thing I would like to mention is that I was checking my online status about 3 or 4 times a day and my address didn't disappear in about last 4 weeks.

Brother could you let us know when did you apply to CiC Mississauga?

Yesterday my husband received a letter from Islamabad ....
in the letter it was written ... they need in order to continue the processing of the application the following documents ...
-a copy of hes tazkira along its english translation
- Please provide original marriage certificate issued by afghan consulate in Quetta ...( they have send us back the original PAkistani mariiage certificate )
-Complette and clear copy of my passport

-post wedding pics with lebel on it ......
thats what they need from him they have sent us in the same letter another letter saying they need info from my side to ...


they want me to proove that i am a Canadian citizen since i went to see my hubby for 6 months ...... so now they want me to send them my NOA from last 2 years ... n banck statement and proof of resident ...


anyways the info on my side are easy to provide the thing we dont know how to do it its the nikha namma ... should we re do a new one by the afghan consulate and if so what should i do since i am here and i have to sign it ...... they gaved us 45 days to re send all the pappers

Hi Khalid25...it can take anywhere from 1 month to 6 months. For wives it tends to be less.

Ask your husband to contact Afg consulate in Quetta with the current marriage certificate, they will issue u something as required by CHC, If it is asked by CHC then you will have to follow and provide the required docs.

Congrats to torwi, khan, ainy, one 2 k 4 and all others who got their process finished. I hAvent logged for a while so am not sure how many got it but ppl who helped me and encouraged me thruout except for best place for u, all seems to be done now. May god bless u all

Totka Act does not grant such privileges among siblings, a violation can lead to prosecution of the subject involved in the unauthorized activity and hefty penalties can also be levied ......... the subject can also be barred from any future act of Totakaa.............

Question: Those who have received passport request, please let me know how many days of compliance you receive from CHC ISB to send the passport? In other words how many days you have to send the passport, 30 or 45?

With the last CAIPS notes ordered, I noticed there was no activity on the BFD and it was moved to another month without doing any progress. Is any one else experience the same things. Senior members, please advise, why are they doing this?

Same wes bhai! Btw I signed 6 3in english and 3 in urdu cuz the maulana kept (or i think it has to be submitted somewhere) a copy each- my inlaws have one set (english and urdu) and my parents have the other set...and my hubby and I are without sets hahahaa

And my birth certificate is in urdu as well- but for cic-isb i got it translated and attested, and sent the urdu original one as well as the english translation

Yeah thats correct, 1 set was for the registrar, 2nd set for the groom's family and 3rd set was for the bride's family
