Saggit19 sister How are you? Koi chethi koi patir koi letter aya ya nahi. Yesterday I checked my sister's ecase and says "Inprocess" March 2010 AOR walo ne kya bigara hy onn ka. For you information my sister wedding was full 3-4 days wedding thats how I ended up having Nikah only wedding because of limited vacation time left over for me. lol. Plus she resided 2 months there after wedding and all that post wedding photo's, eating out recipts and stuff like that attached.

I applied on February 2010 and on March 2010 it was sent to visa office.
my husband was asked for extra documents/re-med/police certificate on April 2011 and we are still waiting.

I emailed them on July 29 and this is what they sent us:

Dear Client,

This is in response to your email (see below).

Your application is currently in process and is in queue for review. Background checks are over for this application.

We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.



I then again emailed them on Oct 5th and this is what they sent:

Dear Client,

This is in response to your email (see below).

Your application is currently in process and is in queue for review by
an immigration officer. Currently, background checks are underway for
this application.

We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a
minimum.

hello you have the same timeline as my husband's.
we havent received remed but atleast you have yor re-med, mashAllah

as far as their email is concerned, there could be three possibilities

1. they don't really know what they are talking about
2. they are conducting a second background check..
3. they are just moving your file from one VO to another VO's queue which happened to us as well.


my advise would be to order caips and if your area mp is helpful get him/her involved.

Once his background check is over, they will send you PPR InshaAllah. Background checks take anywhere from 45 days to 6 months depending on the travel history.

Her medical expires in April 2012...Her passport expires in 2013...
So how long will it take for the letter to arrive in Pakistan address from CHC...

Your medical is good, they called to make sure the address in Pakistan means they want to send you a request letter (hopefully PPR). If its just a matter of them sending you(directly) the PPR letter then you should be done by this time in November! All you have to do and get 2 photos done fill the form they send you with PPR and send the passport to them. Once they have your passport it takes about 2 weeks to get it back with the VISA stamped!

I hope all the earlier cases get done soon InshAllah. My wife was March AOR and I know how it is...It took her longer than the other applicants but I am glad its finally over for her!

Alkhamdulilah, today Oct 13th my wife has received a request letter for re-med, repcc, and supplementary form, so glad that finally CHC-IS has started processing my wife's application.

Any idea, how long further it would take for passport request after the re-med and repcc?

I am new on this forum. I have been reading this forum for a couple of months. This is a source of guidence for all the ppl who got struck by cruel immigration system. I applied for my wife an my timline is;

  Applied CPC 2ndApril 2010
  AOR 30th June 2010.
  27th April 2011, Re-Pcc, IMM & Objection letter for marriage not genuine (This was a Nikah only case)
  Last week of May, 2011 Visited Pakistan for 01 week for Rukhsati and Walima (just to avoid long waiting)
  10th June, 2011 All the proofs + Re-Pcc + IMM sent
  
  
  After that no voice from them. My wifes Medical has expired since Feb 2011, we have not received any request of medical yet. I am really depress now. I sent a query to Isb in frist week of August and got response that file is in que for review. After that I have sent many queries but could not get any reply.
  After looking at the chart I have came to know that there three more people who got objection letter (Ainy sister, Ranjha & Muzmil bro). We are sailing in the same boat, Can you people please share wats the status of ur case. Should I order CAIPS? If you people have ordered CAIPS, what ur notes say (Please share if you dont mind).
  My wife and her family getting very upset and somtime get panic. I was able to spend hardly 5 days with my wife after my marriage in Pakistan because of job issues and I had to appear in some exam at that time.
  
  Please seniors and above mentioned persons, guide me and pray for me.
