Hello All,
I have received an ITA and will be submitting my PR application soon. I have 5 years of experience and while submitting the pre-ITA form I had put my work experience at 40 hrs/week. However, I just realized that my official working hours are actually 20 hrs/week (due to my visa in the USA I cannot be paid more than 20 hrs/week).
I have made the change from 40 hrs to 20 hrs in my post-ITA profile and because you only get points upto a maximum of 3 years of work experience, my points are unaffected and I am well above the cutoff for ITA in my round.
My question is, can I submit the application or should I decline the ITA. Some people have advised that if my points are above the cutoff and are unchanged I can submit by giving an explanation in an LOE. Please advise on what I should do?
Thanks
