Hi there,
I hope that I can get some clarification. Thanks in advance for any knowledge anyone may have about this. I'm a Canadian and my wife and I have recently begun the process of inland permanent residency. Presently she is a full time student (on a visa)and the school offers to arrange a work permit upon graduation. Of course this will allow her to work full-time while we are waiting for approval from immigration. We know that the first stage acceptance allows a permanent residency candidate to work, but is it okay for her to change her visa status while waiting. Our kids are passport carrying Canadians and my wife has been offered a full-time job. Of course, we don't want to jeopardize our chances of a problem free approval.
Thanks a great deal!
