Changing study permit to visitor visa

Hi, I want to stop going to school here as an international student, but i’ve signed a lease for 1 year until March 2022. Is there a way I can stay here until my lease is up without being in school by changing my current study permit to a 6 month visitor visa?

Yes, you can apply to change your status to visitor. If you are currently working, you'll need to stop as soon as you drop out of school.

Hi, I'm in the similar situation as yours. Has your study permit changed to visitor visa lately?

Is this really possible?. Converting student visa to visitor?. As per my knowledge, once you are a student, you have to complete your course or loose your study permit.
