Hi! I've been refused twice for a study permit. This was both for the same reasons (according to GCMS notes): purpose of visit, and studies not reasonable in light of background.

I originally wanted to take Creative Advertising at Seneca College, a 2-year college diploma program. I have transferred now to Business - Marketing in the same school, also a 2-year college diploma program. Will this give me a better chance?

My background:
39 years old
Bachelor of Science in Communications Technology Management
Worked as a writer for 17 years

Thanks!

The issues isn't the course you chose, it is the level you chose, why not do masters? Why diploma? If you reapply again with the same diploma in business it will still be refused.

It still doesn't make sense. Diploma is a very low level of study. Why would you be taking a diploma after already having a Bachelor degree and 17 years of experience?
