Hello Everyone,

I've received my ITA last week. I've asked for my official employment letter from my previous employer. My job title when I was there was an ''IT Service Delivery Manager'' (which is the one I've entered while creating my profile before in Express Entry site) but my employment letter shows "IT Project Manager". I've asked why is it so - according to my prev employer, I am under the umbrella of the Project Management Group (I was not even aware of that not until I've received my employment letter) and all of people under that group is tagged as IT Project Manager regardless of subclasses. I believe both falls under 2171 NOC.

I wonder if this will be an issue?

Thanks

I'm guessing that you have not submitted your application yet. This is just the case with express entry profile.

If my understanding is correct then you have nothing to worry. Just change your title when you fill the PR application. And give an explanation in LOE. CIC is looking at job responsibilities and not really bothered about title that much. In case you have offer letter which states that old job title or salary stub with the old job title that can also help. Even if you don't have those it is not such a big issue.
