Changing Occupations

Hi Everyone,

I'm considering applying to the FSW program, but have a quick question about occupations. If I'm claiming CRS points based on skilled work (NOC 0/A/B) do I need to be working in that field at the time of application?

(Background: I have a Masters and five years of skilled experience, but right now I'm taking some time out to teach painting. Wondering whether I can still apply using my prior skilled experience).

You need not be working in the field(s) for which you'll be claiming CRS points for. You can apply using your prior work experience.
