Changing NOC after receiving ITA

Has anyone been able to modify their NOC to a closely matching NOC after receiving their ITA?
In my case, I had used NOC 2173 for my express entry profile, but after receiving ITA, I realized that 2174 is a better fit. Thanks!

Yes you can. Just explain it in the LOE.

Okay, so I have received my experience letter from my company but they only gave it with a generic job description. My fear is that this is a better fit to NOC 2174 than 2173, Should I change my NOC in eAPR?

"As a member of the software engineering division, he is performing detail design based on provided high level design specifications. Assisting in system planning, scheduling and implementation . Building enhancements (including new product features) and resolving bugs. Building and executing unit test and unit test plans. Reviewing integration and regression test plans created by QA. He is interacting with QA and porting engineering about problems in the code. "
