Hi All
My spouse has landed but we have a minor issue with the the order of her name on the COPR and subsequently on PR card too. The given names are listed as africanname1 africanname2 firstname and middlename. When we try do get her an Alberta ID and health card they refused to use the actual first name and middle name and used the african names instead. Those names are long and I'm sure they wont be enough space on the PR card to fit all her given names and would like to ask immigration to use her actual names. What is the procedure to get this done? Case Specific inquiry?

There are instructions on the COPR as well as the PR card information sheet that tell you to keep both pieces of paper in case you need them in the future - like for name changes. The information on how to contact them is on the letter that came with the PR card, which I assume you just received. Contact them directly.
