Long story short, I was just started a skilled marketing job, that I don’t really do much and bores me, and I am most likely going to have difficulty getting a letter of responsibilities due to the lack of work and almost sure they won’t provide the responsibilities I need to apply for Express Entry.
On another hand, right before I started, I finally received my reference letter confirming my 1 year experience as a housekeeping supervisor at Marriott in the US (I am in the U.K.) and the letter is straightforward and will make me eligible. Now all I need is another year as a housekeeping supervisor to apply for express entry.
I just got an interview with Marriott in London to start this job and get another year of experience, but it sounds silly to me to risk my marketing position for hospitality, however I enjoy working in hotels.
Do you think it’s a good idea to sacrifice my current job for another year in hospitality so I can apply for express entry. The 1 year experience is completely proven as the NOC.
